Gloria Sim Le is an experienced dually board certified psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner. She has a variety of experience in different clinical settings including neurological ICU, long-term care facilities, school nursing, primary care clinics, weight management, aesthetics and outpatient psychiatric practices.
During her time in family medicine, she found her true passion in psychiatry. While mental health disorders may occur without any underlying conditions, she ensures there is not a physiological cause of mental illness prior to initiating treatment. She believes mental health is a crucial part of a person’s well-being and she is devoted to providing quality and empathetic mental health care to improve a person’s quality of life.
She provides a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment and diagnosis of patients with mental illness and co-occurring disorders. She uses evidence-based treatment modalities, which include both medication and psychotherapeutic management. Furthermore, she is a firm believer in lifestyle modifications to facilitate improved outcomes. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorders, perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, as well as Asian intergenerational trauma.
