Courtney Arvizu

Courtney Arvizu is currently ACCEPTING new clients, children ages 15 and up, and adults.

Courtney is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in the healthcare field. Her background includes extensive work in critical care, where she developed strong clinical instincts, a calm presence under pressure, and a deep appreciation for the vital connection between physical and mental health.

​

She provides thoughtful, patient-centered psychiatric care across a broad range of mental health conditions, with a special interest in supporting individuals navigating ADHD, depression, anxiety, and the impacts of trauma. Courtney takes a holistic, strengths-based approach—considering the whole person: mind, body, and environment—to tailor care plans that align with each client’s unique needs and goals. 

Influenced by Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Courtney incorporates, values-based decision making, and skills that help clients adapt to life’s challenges with openness and self-compassion.

Known for her empathy and compassionate presence, Courtney creates a safe, supportive space where individuals feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered. She believes trust and connection are essential to the healing process and works collaboratively with clients to foster growth and resilience through evidence-based practices.

 

Education:​

​Bachelors of Nursing from University of Cincinnati

Masters of Nursing as a Psychiatric Nurse. Practitioner from Gonzaga University.
